Rail Simulator Release
Known Issues:
- 5-20 second delay in the RailDriver response time.
This is an isolated issue specific to some Dual-Core Processors - When the Directional Pad is pressed on the RailDriver, the Num Lock on your keyboard will turn off.
- After installing the software you will see a pop up box telling you to calibrate the RailDriver. You must select yes for this option.
- After selecting “yes” you will see two windows open; the calibration window and the instruction manual.
- Please read through the instruction manual and follow the directions to complete the calibration process.
- After calibrating, start Rail Simulator and go to Options>Gameplay and change the "Control Mode" to "Expert".
- After selecting “yes” you will see two windows open; the calibration window and the instruction manual.
- The RailDriver will not have a way to distinguish between train controls.
- You will have the same controls for all the trains.
- The only exception to this is the dynamic brake. On U.S. locomotives the dynamic brake will work as expected, but on UK/German trains the dynamic brake will act like the train brake.
- You will have the same controls for all the trains.
- To change any of the programming on the blue buttons please follow the procedure below:
a. Right click on RD MWII icon in the system icon tray next to the system time like this:
